QUARTET: Intermediate Japanese Across the Four Language Skills I [Workbook]

QUARTET Workbook I is the practice companion to QUARTET I, covering Lessons 1 to 6. The first half tests reading comprehension and gives you exercises for the grammar and expressions from each lesson, building from basic drills to combined exercises to short compositions. The second half covers elementary grammar review and kanji challenges.

There are fewer exercises per grammar point than in the GENKI workbooks, so it won't carry your study on its own. For self-studiers, it's still worth having for the reading comprehension questions and composition practice. There is no standalone answer key in this series. Answers are in the Teacher's Guide.
