TRY! JLPT N5 Grammar covers 46 grammar patterns through situational conversations, like chatting with friends or talking to staff at an electronics store. It also covers greetings, counting, and verb conjugation.

Each grammar point gets an explanation, example sentences, and practice exercises, followed by review questions for grammar, reading, and listening in the same format as the actual JLPT. There's a full mock test at the end covering all three. Audio is available as a free download from ASK's website, or through Spotify and Apple Podcasts.

This works best as a review after finishing a beginner textbook like Genki Vol. 1 or Minna no Nihongo I. It pulls together the grammar you've already learned and puts it into JLPT format, so you know what to expect on test day. Not recommended as a standalone grammar course for someone starting from scratch.
